Summary

Homeowners are increasingly looking to future-proof their properties with electric vehicle charging points. For this project in Blyth, we were asked to install an EV charger, making sure everything met current safety standards and regulations.

The Work

Completed and submitted the official EV charger application to the DNO
Fitted an external FuseBox EVDB by the electric meter
Routed specialist cabling along the property wall to the charger location
Installed and set up the customer-supplied EV charger
Performed all required electrical tests and issued both an Electrical Installation Certificate and Part P Building Regulations certificate

The Outcome

The homeowner can now charge their electric vehicle safely at home with confidence. The installation meets all required standards, and paperwork is in place for added peace of mind. This project shows how careful planning and clear communication make even technical upgrades straightforward.
